A. Let's drop in somewhere for a snack.
B. I'd rather have a proper meal, it's lunch time now.
A. All right. Shall we go to a restaurant [´restqrLN]?
B. Yes, let's. There's quite a nice one over there on the left hand side. They have a self-service department there too, though I don't want to go there today.
A. There's a nice table for two. Shall we take it?
B. Can't you see, it's reserved?
A. Oh, I see. Come over here then; we'll be very comfortable at this table.
B. (seated) Will you have any hors d'oeuvres?
A. Not today. I'll start with soup and have a steak to follow.
B. I had meat for my main course yesterday, so I'll have fish for a change.
A. Shall we order the sweet straight away? What would you like?
B. Fruit salad and ice-cream for me.
A. All right, I'll have the same.
